CRM-Lite
Time Frame: 3 months
Role: Product Designer
Created over 100 screens
OVERVIEW
This project was for a real-estate who wanted an effective solution to track leads and understand where these leads originated – whether from events, advertisements, meetings, walk-ins or other sources. To address this need, we developed CRM Lite, a minimal viable product (MVP) designed to provide the essential functionalities for lead tracking without the complexities of more advanced CRM systems.
Process Overview
The design and development process involved close collaboration between multiple stakeholders to ensure that the final product met the real estate company’s needs.
A business partner will conduct a discovery session with the real estate company to gather their requirements, understand their needs and challenges, and prioritize features.
The business partner will then work with the product manager to align on the features to be develop and set the priorities based on the company's goals.
Once the priorities were finalized, I then create the designs based on the requirements.
The designs were reviewed and aligned with both the product manager and the business partner.
Once the designs were finalized and approved, I handed them over the developers for implementation.
Key Features:
Campaign Management
This allows users to easily create and manage campaigns, whether for ads or events. Users can set up a campaign, specify the type (advertisement or event), and track all relevant details, including assigned sales directors, project locations, and attachments.
Users can set up a new campaign by entering key details such as the campaign name, type (event or advertisement), duration, and location. The system also generates a QR code for each campaign, which can be used for lead acquisition on-site. Additionally, users can assign territory heads and link the campaign to specific projects. This feature helps the team efficiently organize their marketing efforts and ensure that all relevant information is centralized and accessible.
Leads Acquisition
This streamlines the process of acquiring new leads by allowing potential customers to inquire about events or properties directly through the platform by scanning a QR code displayed on event sites or advertisement billboards or posters. Prospective customers are directed to a form where they can easily submit their contact details and preferences, which are then automatically recorded in the system.
As part of the lead acquisition form, this feature allows users to select additional real estate projects they are interested in. The design flow includes a user-friendly interface that enables potential customers to browse, filter, and select projects based on criteria such as location and property type (e.g., house and lot, condominium, lot only).
Leads Management
This provides a comprehensive view of all leads, allowing users to track and manage customer information efficiently. Users can view detailed lead profiles, including contact information, acquisition source, and associated campaigns. The feature also tracks the customer’s interests and the projects they are considering, enabling the sales team to tailor their follow-up strategies effectively.
Lead Transfer & Reassignment
This allows sales managers and other higher-level team members to efficiently transfer or reassign leads to another member within their team, ensuring that leads are managed by the most suitable person.
Project Handoff and Conclusion
I designed this project up to a certain sprint, providing the real estate company with essential tools to track and manage their leads. Features like lead acquisition through QR codes, project selection, and lead transfer were developed to help the sales team stay organized and focused on converting leads into customers. However, I discontinued further design work when the company I worked for, which was providing design and development services to the real-estate company, was dissolved. The project was successfully handed over to the real estate company, allowing them to continue using and expanding on the system as needed.
